An advanced hybrid polymer building sealant

Everbuild Tecnic Hybriflex 25LM is a one part, low modulus, chemically curing sealant combining the best qualities of silicone and polyurethane technologies. It is specifically designed for adhering most common building surfaces to each other and themselves.

  • Totally waterproof & weatherproof.

  • Overpaintable if required.
  • Permanently flexible.
  • Resistant to chemicals & petrol (10 % dilute acids/alkalis, most solvents).
  • Excellent primer less adhesion to most surfaces, including metals, most plastics, glass, concrete, plaster, plasterboard, polyester, perspex, glass, wood, enamel, painted surfaces etc.
Usage
Sealing most applications imaginable. For examples:
  • External and internal perimeter pointing around doors and windows, especially in mobile structures such as caravans and sealing vertical expansion joints, jointing cladding panels and bonding difficult materials such as most plastics, metals and fiberglass.
  • Any application requiring high performance, durable sealing and bonding of joints. 
  • Applications where resistance to chemical spillage is required.

Joint Design

Joint Dimensions - For maximum movement accommodation, it is recommended that:

1. The sealant joint depth should be no less than 5 mm.

2. Joint depth should be 5 mm for joints up to 10 mm wide.

3. Joints above 10 mm in width should be half the width in depth up to 20 mm and minimum 10 mm for wider joints.

Joint depth may be adjusted to the correct size using EVERBUILD JOINT BACKER ROD or BOND BREAKING TAPE in cases where there is not enough depth to use Backer Rod.

Joint Width Calculation - Joint widths are calculated as in BS6213: Width = (M x 100)/F + M

Where M = movement and F = movement accommodation factor.
