EVERBUILD TECNIC PURAFLEX 25 one part Polyurethane Sealant is a premium quality one component low modulus sealant designed to replace conventional one part Polysulphide sealants in most applications.

Usage
  • Most construction, expansion and dilation joints in brickwork, stone and concrete structures, vertical and horizontal.
  • Pointing and perimeter joints around timber window and door frames.
  • Capping to beaded glazing systems.
  • Sealing and pointing in roofline applications and to composite panels, metal panels and steel structures.
  • Sealing and pointing pre-cast concrete panels.
  • Light traffic floor joints.

Joint Design

The joint width must be designed to suit the movement capability of the sealant. In general the joint width should be > 10 mm and < 40 mm. A width to depth ratio of approx. 2:1 must be maintained. Reduce joint depth with EVERBUILD FIX AND FILL FOAM, EVERBUILD JOINT BACKER ROD or BOND BREAKING TAPE in cases where there is not enough depth to use Backer Rod.

Joint widths are calculated as in BS6213:
Width = (M x 100)/F + M
Where M = movement and F = movement accommodation Factor
