Sika® Mixer Cleaner is a cleaning liquid that can dissolve uncured and cured silicone sealant and adhesive in equipment hoses and mixers.

Usage
Sika® Mixer Cleaner can be used to clean mixer and single machine parts from 1- and 2-component silicone sealants and adhesives. 
This product is to be used by professional experienced users only. Trials must be carried out prior to use.

Technical Information
IMPORTANT NOTE

Before immersed parts are used again, they must be completely cleaned and dried.
If using a purging pump the production may only be continued after Sika® Mixer Cleaner was completely removed form the cleaned static mixer.
Keep Sika® Mixer Cleaner containers closed when not in use. Tightly reseal container immediately after each use.

 

Application Information
METHOD OF APPLICATION

Parts to be cleaned shall be immersed in Sika® Mixer Cleaner for several hours depending on the degree of vulcanization and thickness of the layer of silicone sealant. The instructions provided in the Safety Data Sheet must be obeyed. Afterwards remaining silicone residues may be easily removed mechanically.
Alternatively, Sika® Mixer Cleaner may be applied in standard commercially available cleaning pumps that are offered for silicone metering and mixing equipment. The static mixer is rinsed with Sika® Mixer Cleaner for several hours, depending on the degree of contamination. 
STORAGE CONDITIONS

Store Sika® Mixer Cleaner in the sealed container in a cool dry place.
