General Description & Application


The Philips ceiling-mounted upper-air UV-C disinfection system is designed to disinfect air in the upper part of enclosed spaces across a wide range of professional applications. Optimized for low ceiling environments, the UV-C radiation is mainly distributed at and above the luminaire level. The radiation is carefully controlled through dedicated reflectors and guiding elements to ensure safe operation.

The system continuously disinfects the air volume in a room while allowing normal daily activities to continue underneath the active zone. It enables silent air disinfection and contributes to safer indoor environments.
