Technical Information Specific Advice Differences in calcium sulfate binder type, raw material sources, calcining methods, age and storage conditions of the binder and other individual parameters at the plant and/or job site can influence the setting time of gypsum binders and therefore the dosage of Retardan®-200 L. Preliminary testing is required to determine the exact dosage for specific conditions. Please contact Sika technical service for more information and advice. |
Application Information Dispensing Retardan®-200 L is added to the gauging water. When used in very low dosage, Retardan®-200 L may be pre-dissolved in pure water for easier dosing. Please contact Sika technical service for more information and advice. Compatibility Retardan®-200 L may be combined with many other Sika products as well as with most commonly used gypsum additives, like superplasticizer, foaming agent/ defoamer and stabilizer. In combination i.e. with Sika® ViscoCrete® superplasticizer improvements in flowability and setting-time adjustment may be achieved. Note:
