REHABILITATION, MODERNIZATION AND EXTENSION OF THE ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE SOCOLA IAȘI PSYCHIATRIC INSTITUTE

The Institute of Psychiatry "Socola" Iasi is a single-specialty hospital of national interest, which provides high quality medical care for patients from the surrounding territory, as well as those from all over the country, in the psychiatry profile, being internationally recognized.

Socola Psychiatric Institute is a medical unit that was built between 1887 and 1889 on the site of the former Theological Seminary in Iasi. Today, the hospital building is a national heritage building.

This project aims to upgrade the electrical installations in the hospital buildings to modern standards. This will improve the operating parameters of the medical equipment used in this medical institution, necessary to perform specific medical services and optimise the annual electricity cost by increasing the reliability of the hospital's electrical installation, despite the fact that it operates in a historic building.

The project is funded by the EU from the "European Regional Development Fund"

Services provided:

• Modernization/rehabilitation of interior and exterior electrical system in the entire hospital building, on functional buildings

• Execution of the electrical installation according to the standards in force using products specific to the purpose of the building.

• Implementation of BMS system for lighting, sockets and air-conditioning control

• Building connections replacement works

• Installing lightning rod system

• Supply and commisioning of 825 kVA generator set

• Consultancy offered to the beneficiary for the adaptation of the Technical Project, in order to solve the specific medical requirements of the activity of each medical ward.

• Civil construction works of painting, plastering, making crossings on portions of asphalt road

• System commissioning
