Primer for Sikaflex® / Sikabond® elastic sealants and adhesives

Sika® Primer-3 N is a one-component solvent-based primer.

Use

Sika® Primer-3 N is designed for Sikaflex®, SikaHyflex®, SikaBond® and Sikasil® products used on porous substrates (eg concrete) and metals.

Mixture of solvent and one-component reactive epoxy resin.

Validity period

9 months from the date of production, under appropriate storage conditions, in the original, sealed and undamaged packaging, in a dry place protected from sunlight, and at temperatures between +10°C (+50 °F) and +25°C (+77 °F).

Storage conditions

Sika® Primer-3 N must be stored in dry conditions, protected from sunlight and at temperatures between +5 °C (+41 °F) and +25 °C (+77 °F).

PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT

The support layer must be clean, dry, homogeneous, smooth, without fats, oils, or friable particles. The cement milk must be removed.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

All tools and application equipment shall be cleaned with Sika® Colma Cleaner immediately after application. Cured/dried product can only be removed mechanically.
