SikaCeram®-240 Rapid is a fast-setting, one-component cement-based adhesive with high strength and high polymer content. It is recommended for works where the time factor is important, for gluing porcelain tiles, natural stone on facades, ceramic veneers over underfloor heating systems, at swimming pools or for cladding over cladding, in the domestic or industrial sector.

Use
  • Bonding of all types of ceramic tiles, even large ones, during repair and renovation works
  • Bonding of marble and natural stone tiles provided they are not sensitive to water
  • Indoors or outdoors, on floors or walls
  • Recommended for internal gluing of ceramic veneers over existing ceramic veneers
  • Ceramic tiles over underfloor heating systems (water systems)
  • For cosmetic operations, in layers up to 5mm (0.197 in) thick
  • Recommended for applications with high performance requirements (e.g. swimming pools, facades, industrial or high-traffic floors)
  • For spot bonding of polystyrene, polyurethane foam, basalt mineral wool or fiberglass insulation boards

Prepared with SikaCeram® T-Latex, an adhesive classified C2FT S2 is obtained, for:

  • Cladding over cladding on the outside
  • Cladding of facades with tiles with an area greater than 2100 cm2
  • Ceramic tiles over underfloor heating systems (electrical systems)
