Mortar plasticiser for brick and block laying.

Feb® Febmix Admix® SW is an air entraining liquid plasticising admixture designed specifically to cope with the different qualities of sand, cement and water found in South Wales and the West Country.

  • Very stable bubble structure.
  • Uniform air entrainment structure.
  • Works with most types of Portland Cement and difficult sands.
  • Increased resistance to damage by freeze/thaw.
  • Reduced segregation and bleed.
  • Non corrosive to embedded metals.
  • Increased working time.
  • Easier and faster mortar spread.
  • Can be used to replace lime.
  • Can be used with P.F.A. containing mortars.
Usage
Feb® Febmix Admix® SW forms very stable air bubbles in mortar mixes. This improves the workability of mortar, giving it a “buttery” consistency and helps prevent shrinkage, cracking, crazing and mild frost damage during the curing process, as well as providing long term resistance to freeze/thaw cycles. Feb® Febmix Admix® SW replaces lime in the mix and hence reduces the chance of efflorescence (salt formation).
