Rapid curing with added powder polymer for increased flexibility and adhesion

SikaCeram-240 Flexible Rapid is a highly flexible, rapid-setting tile adhesive that is suitable for bonding ceramic tiles to walls or floors, and suitable for both thick and thin bed applications. This product is ideal for when same day fixing is required as well as a tile adhesive that can accommodate sub floor movement. Its built in crack resistance makes it ideal for applications where slight surface movement or vibration is likely. SikaCeram-240 Flexible Rapid can be used for the interior and exterior fixing of all types of ceramic wall tiles, including mosaics, vitrified tiles, porcelain and natural stone.

Usage
  • Interior and exterior applications
  • Securing floor and wall tiles to most surfaces
  • Areas subject to sub-floor movement or vibration
  • Fixing onto most building substrates including; plasterboard, plywood, composite board, floorboards, chipboard, timber and concrete.
  • Areas subject to occasional wetting but not total immersion (e.g bathrooms, kitchens, domestic showers etc.)

The open time of the exposed adhesive bed is approx. 20 minutes depending on surface porosity and site conditions.

Test open time by touching the adhesive bed with a gloved finger; if adhesive transfers to the glove a safe bond is assured.
