Technical Information Tensile stress at specified elongation @ 100% - 0.3 MPa Approx. Movement Capability Butt joints: +/- 25 % Lap joints: +/- 25 % Elastic Recovery >70 % (ISO7389) Service Temperature -50 °C to +150 °C Joint Design Joint Dimensions For maximum movement accommodation, it is recommended that: 1/ The sealant joint width should be no less than 5 mm. 2/ Joint depth should be half width e.g. 30 mm wide and 15 mm deep. Joint depth may be adjusted to the correct size using EVERBUILD JOINT BACKER ROD. Bond Breaker Tape can be used to prevent 3 sided adhesion in situations where EVERBUILD JOINT BACKER ROD would have a negative effect on joint dimensions. |
