What is Wings Solar Tracker?
In a global context where the efficiency of green infrastructure is more important than ever, the “Wings Solar Tracker” represents a major technological leap. This new technology of “tracker” systems is designed to optimize the capture of solar energy and significantly improve the performance of photovoltaic parks, ease of installation, and reduce costs and risks during operation and maintenance.
Unlike traditional fixed structures or single axis tracker systems, our dynamic system allows the adjustment of the angle of the panels in relation to the movement of the sun.
The innovation brought by RORD Dynamics is differentiated by remarkable structural and mechanical performances:
- Dynamic East-West movement: Follows the movement of the sun with fractions of a degree/angle, maximizing energy production.
- Concave position at noon: Maximizes production through reflection, being extremely useful on cloudy days.
- Convex protective position (“Stow”): Offers superior resistance in case of storms, strong winds or hail.
