Read morePolyurethane resin for floors, self-levelling, with crack absorption Sikafloor®-376 is a coloured, crack absorbing, low viscosity, phthalate free polyurethane floor resin. Provides a hard-wearing, joint-free, low-maintenance, smooth, matte or non-slip finish by spreading quartz sand of various grades. Layer thicknesses can vary between 2.0 mm (0.0787 in) and 5.0 mm (0.197 in). For medium-heavy wear conditions. Indoor and outdoor uses. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

ApplicationMixture ratio Component A : Component B = 30 : 70 (by weight) Ambient air temperature +10 °C (+50 °F) min. / +30 °C (+86 °F) max. The relative humidity of the air 80% max. Dew point Beware of condensation! The temperature of the substrate and uncured material on the surface must be at least 3˚C higher than the dew point, to reduce the risk of condensation and delamination of the finished surface. Conditions of low temperatures and high humidity increase the probability of surface delamination. Support temperature +10 °C (+50 °F) min. / +30 °C (+86 °F) max. Moisture content in the substrate ≤4 % pm moisture content. Test method: Sika®-Tramex-meter, CM - carbide measuring method or oven drying method. Rising moisture is not recommended, according to ASTM standards (polyethylene sheet test). Lifetime of the mixture
Hardening time Before applying Sikafloor®-376 over Sikafloor®-156/161 a waiting time shall be allowed as follows:
Before applying Sikafloor®-377 over Sikafloor®-376 a waiting time shall be allowed as follows:
Before applying the sealing layer over Sikafloor®-376 anti-slip with embedded scattered sand a waiting time shall be allowed as follows:
* There is no maximum waiting time for application over embedded sandblasted surfaces. Times are approximate and are affected by changes in ambient conditions, especially temperature and relative humidity. The applied product is usable after Times are approximate and are affected by changes in ambient conditions, especially temperature and relative humidity.
Consumption ~1.2 kg/m 2 /mm. See the specific System Data Sheet. These values are theoretical and do not take into account additional consumption due to surface porosity, surface profile, unevenness or losses, etc. EQUIPMENT Choose the most suitable equipment required for the specific conditions of the project: Preparation of the support layer

Application
shuffle Before combining, separately mechanically mix Component A (resin) using a single paddle electric mixer or other suitable equipment, mix the liquid and all pigment until a uniform color composition is obtained. Add Component B (hardener) to Component A and mix Component A + Component B continuously for 3.0 minutes until a uniform color composition is obtained. To ensure that they have been properly mixed, pour the contents into another container and mix again until a consistent mixture is obtained. Prolonged mixing should be avoided to minimize aeration of the mixture. In the final mixing phase, scrape the sides and bottom of the container with a straight/flat-edged spatula or trowel at least once to ensure thorough mixing. Only mix full containers. Mixing time Component A + Component B + quartz sand = 3.0 minutes. APPLICATION Additional documentation should be consulted, if applicable, such as specific application methods. Before application, check the humidity of the support, u.r. and the dew point. If the humidity of the substrate is > 4%, apply Sikafloor® EpoCem® as a temporary barrier against humidity (B.T.U. system). Primer Pour the Sikafloor® primer on the prepared substrate and apply with a brush, roller or rubber squeegee then roll with the stencil in two perpendicular directions, crosswise. Make sure a continuous, non-porous layer covers the substrate. If necessary, apply two coats of primer. Ensure that the required waiting times have elapsed before applying subsequent products. See the primer's Product Data Sheet. Self-leveling wear layer Pour the mixed Sikafloor®-376 over the prepared base layer and spread evenly using a suitable notched trowel or rake pin squeegee to the required thicknesses. Apply the spiked roller immediately in two perpendicular, cross directions to remove trowel marks, help release entrapped air, ensure an even coat and achieve the required surface finish. Anti-slip coating by spreading quartz sand Pour the mixed Sikafloor®-376 over the prepared substrate and spread evenly using a suitable notched trowel or rake-type pin squeegee to the required thicknesses. Apply the spiked roller immediately in two perpendicular, criss-cross directions to help release entrapped air and ensure an even coat. After the appropriate waiting time, spread quartz sand, first lightly and then in excess to achieve an evenly distributed surface profile. Allow Sikafloor®-376 to harden and remove all friable sand with vacuum equipment. Sealing layer After the appropriate waiting time for the application of the seal coat, pour the mixed material over the slip coat and spread evenly using a rubber squeegee as necessary to completely incorporate the sand. Then apply the stencil with short hair in two perpendicular directions, in a cross. An even finish can be achieved if you keep the edge 'wet' during application. CLEANING OF TOOLS Clean all tools and application equipment with Thinner C immediately after use. The already hardened material can only be removed mechanically. |
