Sikafloor-83 EpoCem, Epoxy-Cement Slab, 7-10mm

Epoxy-cement screed. Three-component predosed packaging (ABC). It is applied as a vapor barrier (min. 7-10 mm (0.276-0.394 in)), or for leveling and rehabilitating absorbent supports. It has self-leveling properties.

• Can be covered with resin-based floors after 24 hours (+20ºC, 75% r.h.)
• Prevents osmotic alkalizing of resin-based coatings when they are applied to wet support layers
• Easy, economical and fast application. It can be finished by helicoptering
• Good leveling properties
• Impermeability to liquids but permeability to water vapor
• Resistance to freezing/thawing and to salt for defrosting. Dense surface
• Thermal expansion properties similar to concrete
• Very good adhesion to green concrete (3 days after casting) or hardened both wet and dry
• Excellent mechanical resistance, both initial and final
• Quick hardening, can be used after a short waiting time
• Excellent resistance to water and oils
• It is an ideal product for leveling surfaces before applying waterproofing membranes
• Intended for both indoor and outdoor use
• Does not contain solvents
• It does not corrode the steel in the fittings
