SikaCeram-255 StarFlex is a one-component cement-based adhesive with high strength, selected aggregates of silicon and quartz and special additives. The adhesive layer has high deformability properties and can be applied in thicknesses of up to 15 mm (0.591 in). It is recommended for gluing porcelain tiles, natural stone on facades, ceramic veneers over underfloor heating systems, at swimming pools and in the industrial field

Use
  • Thin layer bonding of porcelain tiles
  • Bonding of all types of ceramic tiles, even large ones
  • Bonding of marble and natural stone tiles provided they are not sensitive to water
  • Ceramic tiles over underfloor heating systems (water systems or electrical systems)
  • For indoor and outdoor applications
  • Recommended for internal bonding of ceramic veneers over existing ceramic veneers, without priming the substrate
  • Recommended for applications with high performance requirements (e.g. swimming pools, facades, industrial field)
  • Vertical and horizontal ceramic tiles
  • For spot bonding of polystyrene, polyurethane foam, basalt mineral wool or fiberglass insulation boards
