Indoor ceramic tiling requires a quality level of assembly that highlights the high aesthetic qualities of the tiles. SikaHome®TileBond Ceramic is an adhesive based on cement, selected aggregates of silicon and quartz and special additives, with a fine consistency, which gives precision in keeping the width of the joints constant and ensures vertical installation starting from a conveniently chosen elevation, without sliding of the tiles.

Use

For gluing in a thin bed (up to 10mm (0.394 in)), ceramic tiles inside buildings, on all traditional supports used in construction, dimensionally stable and free of vibrations, on vertical or horizontal surfaces.

SikaHome®TileBond Ceramic is suitable for bonding the following types of tiles:

  • All types of ceramic tiles. In case of doubts about the stability of the support, especially when using tiles with absorption E ≤ 0.5% according to SR EN 14411:2012, it is recommended to use SikaHome® TileBond Flexible adhesive
  • Ceramic or natural stone tiles (not susceptible to staining), with dimensions between 5x5cm (1.97 in) and 40x40cm (15.7 in)

SikaHome®TileBond Ceramic is suitable for bonding to a range of substrates including:

  • Concrete (minimum 6 months after casting)
  • Plasters or screeds (minimum 28 days after putting into operation)
  • Plasterboard (exclusive dry walls, with specialized installation, stable and vibration-free)
  • Supports without dimensional variations. In the case of supports with contractions or expansions, it is recommended to use SikaHome® TileBond Flexible adhesive

SikaHome®TileBond Ceramic can be used for the following applications:

  • Indoor walls and floors under normal conditions
  • Indoor walls and floors in areas with non-permanent water (showers, bathrooms, kitchens)
