Regardless of structure, shape or color, natural stones have a common denominator: sensitivity to staining. SikaHome TileBond Natural Stone uses white cement to limit the staining of the stones during installation and to avoid visible stains through the structure of the translucent tiles, specific for installation with adhesives with grey cement as a binder.

Use

For cladding up to 15mm (0.591 in) thick, inside and outside buildings, on all traditional supports used in construction, dimensionally stable and vibration-free, on vertical or horizontal surfaces.

SikaHome®TileBond Natural Stone is suitable for bonding the following types of tiles:

  • all types of natural stone: blocks or slabs, with dimensions between 5x5cm (1.97 in) and 40x40cm (15.7 in)
  • all types of ceramic tiles. In case of doubts about the stability of the support, especially when using tiles with absorption E ≤ 0.5% according to SR EN 14411:2012, it is recommended to use SikaHome® TileBond Flexible adhesive
  • apparent brick, glass bricks, clinker

SikaHome®TileBond Natural Stone is suitable for bonding to a range of substrates including:

  • Concrete (minimum 6 months after casting)
  • Plasters or screeds (minimum 28 days after putting into operation)
  • Plasterboard (exclusive dry walls, with specialized installation, stable and vibration-free)
  • Supports without dimensional variations. In the case of supports with contractions or expansions, it is recommended to use SikaHome® TileBond Flexible adhesive

SikaHome®TileBond Natural Stone can be used for the following applications:

  • Indoor walls and floors, under normal operating conditions
  • Walls and floors on the outside with the exception of areas with regular water
