Consumption ~ 1.35 kg/m² for 2 layers applied SUPPORT QUALITY The substrate must be clean and dry, free from contamination with dust, soil, grease, oil, cement milk, previous coatings or other types of surface treatments that could affect the adhesion of the new applied layer. PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT Cementitious sub-layers shall be properly prepared using dry blasting / sanding / scarifying machines to remove cement laitance and obtain a rough, conforming texture for application of the product in the proper thickness. Previous treatments or brittle areas will go away. Repairs / leveling will be done with products from the Sika range. Dust, friable and non-adherent particles shall be removed prior to application of the product, preferably using a vacuum cleaner. shuffle
CLEANING OF TOOLS Clean application tools and equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically. |
