ApplicationAmbient air temperature +5 °C (+41 °F) min. / +35 °C (+95 °F) max. Support temperature +5 °C (+41 °F) min. / +35 °C (+95 °F) max. Waiting Time / Recoating Can be covered with water/solvent based polymer paints – contact paint manufacturer for details. When coating with Sikagard® or SikaColor® Emulsion products or other solvent-based coatings, wait at least 5 hours after applying the hydrophobic material. Strengthening treatment Sikagard®-703 W does not require special treatment, but must be protected from rain for at least 3 hours at +20°C (+68 °F). Consumption Depending on the porosity of the substrate: On concrete and mortar: ~ 150–200 g/m 2 On other porous materials: ~ 300–500 g/m 2 (A test must be carried out to determine the exact consumption). APPLICATION Sikagard®-703 W is applied by low-pressure spraying, with a brush or stencil, in a single movement from the top to the bottom, taking care not to run the product. CLEANING OF TOOLS Clean all utensils and equipment with clean water immediately after use. The already hardened material can only be removed mechanically. |
