Consumption 750 ml aerosol: It is applied by spraying (in cords with a diameter of approx. 30 mm (1.18 in)) Yield 750 ml spray: 40 m (30 mm (1.18 in) sprayed cords) PREPARATION OF THE SUPPORT The surface must be clean and dry, homogeneous, without traces of oil and grease, dust or friable particles. Paint, cement milk and any other contaminating agent must be removed. The product adheres without primers or activators to most construction materials, such as: wood, concrete, brick or aluminum. For non-conventional substrates, a preliminary adhesion test is recommended. If the substrate has protrusions larger than about 2 cm (0.787 in), remove them by grinding with a suitable tool (eg an angle grinder). For better adhesion, smooth surfaces can be roughened with an abrasive paper or stone. CLEANING OF TOOLS Clean all application tools and equipment with Sika Boom® Cleaner or Sika® Remover-208 immediately after use. Do not leave Sika Boom® Cleaner screwed onto the application gun as the valve may be damaged. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically. |
