ApplicationConsumption
The consumption depends on the roughness and absorption of the formwork. These figures are theoretical and do not assume any additional consumption due to: surface porosity, surface profile, level variations, possible losses, etc. APPLICATION Surface preparation All surfaces to be treated with Sika® Separol® must be clean and free of dust, grease and any concrete or mortar residues. Steel formwork must be dry. The formwork used must be cleaned before the application of Sika® Separol®. practice Make sure the product is homogeneous before application. Apply the Sika® Separol® product in one thin, uniform and continuous layer over the entire surface of the dry formwork using a brush, roller or spray equipment. For exposed concrete finishes, consumption may need to be adjusted. Preliminary tests must be carried out before industrial application. Equipment cleaning Clean all application tools and equipment with a cleaning solvent, thinner or petroleum ether immediately after using the product. |
