Crack-bridging waterproof sealing tape

Sika® SealTape F is an elastic system component which is used in combination with Sika® waterproofing products. It reduces the risk of leaks through potential cracking locations at wall corners, floor-to-wall connections, pipe entries etc.

Usage

Crack-bridging and waterproofing tape used in combination with Sika®

waterproofing products for reducing the risk of leakage at locations at risk to cracking for:

  • Residential or commercial wet rooms
  • Cold storage areas, car washes and catering kitchens
  • Swimming pools and water retaining structures in combination with ceramic coverings
  • Balconies and terraces
  • Interior and exterior use

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

All substrates must be stable, clean, dry, free of any loose or friable particles, contaminants such as dust, dirt, oil, wax polish, grease, old adhesive residue, cement laitance or efflorescence. Smooth surfaces must be roughened lightly and dust removed to improve adhesion.
