Piling Concrete Admixture

Sika® Pile Pak is a powdered admixture formulated for CFA piling concrete. The product incorporates HRWR/Superplasticising and thixotropic admixtures. Sika® Pile Pak is packaged in water soluble bags to enable ease of addition.

Dispensing
  • Sika® Pile Pak should be added to the mixer at the recommended dose subsequent to the batching of concrete.
  • Concrete should be remixed at full RPM after addition for at least 1 minute per cubic metre
Restrictions
  • The standard rules of good concreting practice, concerning production as well as placing, are to be followed. Refer to relevant standards. Fresh concrete must be cured properly.
  • Sika® Pile Pak should not be added to dry cement.
  • Sika® Pile Pak should be added to mixed concrete.
  • When using Sika® Pile Pak a suitable mix design is required and local material sources should be evaluated.
  • Support from our Technical Department is recommended.
